Welcome to

CodeandStuff

A weekly coding and networking community for women and non-binary developers and code newbies in Manchester.

Our Mission

We believe that diversity in tech is really important and to balance the scale we are building a collaborative agile learning community to support more women and non-binary people getting into tech. Our ambition is to show women and non-binary developers and code newbies that anything is possible - and that with a bit of help and confidence they can realise their potential and enjoy a thriving career in tech.

#BalanceforBetter

Learning

We want women and non-binary people to try coding and perhaps they will find that they have a hidden talent because successful coding is about logic.

Empower

We want to empower women and non-binary people to aspire to a career in tech through mentoring based weekly meetup events, talks, workshops and hackathons.

Community

We want to create a community and link women and non-binary people to those in varying tech roles to provide accessible role models from more technical disciplines.

Who Are We?

We are Women in Tech, who are passionate about tech, mentoring and sharing knowledge.
